Dear
Open Court Readers,
We, the
student-managers of Food from the ‘Hood are so pleased that
you read our story in “Open Court”. Our company is now 12
years old! We have grown a lot since the story was written.
Most of us are 14-17 years old and many of us attend
Crenshaw High School.
Our goal is
to continue to grow our company and to sale our products
across America. Be sure to look for us in a store near
you, but if you are unable to find our products in stores
order on-line at
www.Amazon.com.We are in school everyday
from 8:00A.M.to 3:00P.M, thus we are very busy with our
clients, attending sales trainings, maintaining the garden,
and studying for our classes.
All of us
plan to attend college. Shayla and Dante both ages 16 want
to become pediatricians and also want to own their own
business.
Lucreisha,
age 15, and Martha, age 16 want to become Veterinarians and
want to make an organic dog food to sell at their clinics
while Lawrence, age 17, wants to pursue a career in computer
Technology. Jeptau wants to become an organic food producer.
So as you can see everyone has his or her dreams.
Our
experiences at Food from the ‘Hood allows us to broaden our
minds and expand our horizons. We have traveled to represent
our company and meet business owners and frequent farmer’s
markets. Whew! We encourage you to stay in touch with us to
hear about our continued growth.
Remember what happens when you plant a seed.
Your
Friends,
Food from
the Hood'
